Bournemouth: Transfers In
Hamed Traore for $26m
Bournemouth brought in Hamad Traore on loan in the January window, but he only managed to make five starts with no goal contributions yet. Bournemouth see the potential and have splashed some cash, and will hope he can have a bigger impact over the next four years of his contract. (2028)
Justin Kluivert for $9.8m
This is probably going to be one of the most suprising transfers of the summer, and for a great deal too. Kluivert signed a five year contract, and will be looking to put his career back on track after a few poor stints. Everyone should keep an eye on him especially with the new manager coming in.
Milos Kerkez joins from AZ Akmaar for around $16m, and boy is this a good signing. He is going to be their starting left back ideally, and at just 19 years old! We wrote a full article on him, but essentially he is a very attacking wingback, but will definitely need help defensively.
Total Money Spent: $51.8m
Bournemouth: Transfers Out
Jefferson Lerma contract expires (Free)
Lerma leaving Bournemouth on a free transfer is very poor business from the management. He has played the majority of minutes since he arrived at the club 5 seasons ago. He was a versatile midfielder, and was essentially a leading figure. He’s a must replace ASAP.
Junior Stanislas contract expires (Free)
Junior Stanislas played his first season for Bournemouth in the 14/15 season. He will be a club icon, but in the last two season he’s played 7 league games combined.
Jack Stacey contract expires (Free)
Jack Stacey joined from Luton Town four seasons ago, and is now headed to Norwich City after never truly evolving into the next level for a footballer.
Jordan Zemura contract expires (Free)
The 23 year old has decided to move on to the Italian league following his three seasons with Bournemouth. Jordan Zemura was a good role player, but again the board weren’t able to sell him before his contract ran out. Fun stat, he is actually leading the league in blocks per 90 at 1.92.
